‘Brixworth Mai Tai with Brixworth Dark Rum’

The Mai Tai is one of my favourite rum cocktails, when done well it is truly show stopping. The right balance of lime, with almond and of course a delicious rum as the base. Well it’s fair to say Brixworth Dark Rum not only makes a fantastic traditional Mai Tai, but also has such a well rounded and stunning flavour it allows us to create our own riffs too.

This Brixworth twist on the classic swaps out the normal orange liqueur for a touch of spice, ginger liqueur steps in and works great alongside the delectable dark rum. Which you may be seeing a lot more of on your feed next month – watch this space.

BRIXWORTH MAI TAI:

– 50ml Brixworth Dark Rum
– 20ml Lime Juice
– 20ml Orgeat (Almond Syrup)
– 15ml Ginger Liqueur
– Garnish w Lime Wedge
